Established in 1937 by Cristobal Balenciaga, where he opened his first fashion boutique in Paris. The Spanish designer revolutionised the industry, because of the use of innovative materials and modern silhouettes. The iconic couture house specialise in sculptural shapes executed in technical fabrics which remain central to the label’s DNA, and draw on the original couture silhouettes.
